Atlas Atlantic

Where ideas become actions.

Building and supporting ventures across Atlantic Canada and beyond.

We co-create, launch, and scale mission-aligned companies with founders and partners—combining systems thinking, product execution, and operational support.

How Atlas Atlantic builds

The venture studio approach combines exploration, execution, and operational support to transform ideas into sustainable companies.

1

Explore & validate

Atlas Atlantic identifies meaningful problems and validates market opportunities through research, user insights, and systems analysis.

2

Build

The studio designs and builds the product, platform, and operational systems needed to bring the venture to life.

3

Operate

Atlas Atlantic provides hands-on operational support, helping establish workflows, processes, and sustainable operations.

4

Spin out / scale

The studio prepares the venture for independence or scale, ensuring it has the foundation to succeed long-term.

From idea to done

Your requests are handled with care — reviewed by a human, built with precision, and shipped only when you say so.

Step 1

Submit your request

Drop a ticket into your portal with a title, description, and priority. Attach screenshots, PDFs, or design files — drag and drop up to 50 MB.

Step 2

We review and clarify

Your request is read carefully, including any attachments. If anything is unclear, we ask before starting — no assumptions, no wasted effort.

Step 3

Work begins in isolation

An engineer picks up the ticket with full context of your project. All changes are built on a separate branch — nothing touches your live site until review.

Step 4

Quality review

Every change is checked against your original request. If anything needs your input — a design decision, a scope question — we flag it before delivery.

Step 5

You approve, we deploy

You review the finished work and approve it. Once confirmed, changes go live. Need adjustments? Send it back with notes and we revise.

Every change is reviewed before it ships. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Sidecurrent — Advisory practice

Sidecurrent is the consultancy practice of Atlas Atlantic.

We work with founders, operators, and organizations who need clear judgment, systems thinking, and practical direction — helping with strategy, systems design, and execution without a full venture build engagement.

Founder-led, operator-run

Atlas Atlantic is a founder-led, operator-run studio. Deep systems thinking meets practical execution experience.

Founder & Operator

Jesse Sharratt is the founder and sole operator of Atlas Atlantic.

He builds ventures and advises founders at the system level, drawing on experience across public-sector pilots, infrastructure-heavy products, and long-horizon venture building.

Advisory work is conducted through Sidecurrent, while Atlas Atlantic serves as the venture studio for deeper build partnerships.

What people say

From founders and partners we've worked with.

Luke MacDonald
He listens carefully, translates needs into execution, and follows through—consistently. Jesse is a doer and a systems thinker, and he brings real operational discipline to community-driven initiatives.
Mel Schembri
Jesse has a rare combination of qualities that's hard to find in one person. He's visionary enough to see where you're trying to go, and grounded enough to get you there with integrity, focus, and clarity.
